Inevitably, all babies must start their teething journey. When Samuel got his first tooth at 5 months, I was shocked! I wasn’t prepared for that milestone! And now, at 12 months, he has 8 teeth! While cutting some teeth have been easier than others, we have certainly had some fussy and cranky days and nights. Teething can be hard…for baby and mom and dad! Next, we have molars to look forward to <cringe>. Luckily, I was introduced to Hyland’s and their Teething Tablets early on, and we have used them religiously. Samuel loves, loves, LOVES his “tabs!” And mommy does too.
They really do make a difference!
Hyland’s wants to make every baby’s teething years as easy, and even enjoyable, as possible! On February 28th, which happens to be National Tooth Fairy Day, they are launching the Hyland’s Tooth Fairy Naming Contest on the Hyland’s Teething Facebook Page where you will be able to enter submissions to name the new Hyland’s Tooth Fairy. The top 10 finalists will receive an exclusive Hyland’s Baby Teething Onesie as well as a Hyland’s Baby Teething Tablet product. Then, from the top 10 submissions, Hyland’s will choose a grand prize winner with the most fitting name and award that person with a Hyland’s Baby Basket, $200 Visa Gift Card, Hyland’s Baby Teething Onesie and custom-made First Tooth Certificate. These are some great prizes, so be sure to head over to their Facebook page and give them the best Tooth Fairy name you’ve got: https://www.facebook.com/HylandsTeething
And it doesn’t end there! In addition to the Tooth Fairy naming contest, Hyland’s is also launching a page on the Hyland’s Baby site where you will be able to download a “First Tooth Certificate,” “Teeth Chart” and “I got my first tooth” badges that can be personalized with your child’s information. What a great idea for “teething keepsakes!” Be sure to check it out HERE. I will definitely be making the first tooth certificate and teeth chart for Samuel!!

Teething is tough on everyone around. I’m SO glad I’m past all of it!
When my kids got to loosing their teeth, it was the Tooth Fairy that had all the power to get them out.
