Back to School Organizing Tips

With Nathan starting public school for the first time in just two weeks, I’ve been scrambling to think of ways to get things organized. I had few minutes this weekend and decided to search for some back to school organizing tips on Pinterest. Here’s a few of my favorites:

These Back to School Dry Erase Clipboards from The 36th Avenue are so pretty! I may have to ask my crafty friend to help me make these.

I’ve been trying to figure out the best place for Nathan to hang his new backpack. If I only had more wallspace, I would love to do this!

But this simple backpack station from I’m an Organizing Junkie may be just the thing.

I have to think about packing a lunch for Nathan every day now.  I found these tips from I Heart Organizing to be very helpful.

I love these printable lunchbox notes from Makes and Takes. Hopefully they don’t embarrass Nathan too much! Haha!

And lastly, this list of 25 Make Ahead Back to School Breakfasts, from Second Chance to Dream, is brilliant!

What’s your best back to school organizing tip?

I am heading over to check out the breakfasts! They look wonderful.

  2. Your kids look like they had lots of fun at Story Time. We might have to check that place out.

Your back to school tips are AMAZiNG. I love Pinterest so I’ll be obsessed with that for the rest of today. Thank you!!!

    • You should definitely try Story Land! It’s expensive to get in, but worth every penny IMO!
And thanks – I spent wayyy more time than I should have browsing for those on Pinterest. Haha!

  3. I love those back pack organizing hooks! So crafty! If my entry way was shaped any differently I’d totally create spots like that!!

    • I love those too! I’d love to set something like that up, but our entry is not built for that. Plus we use our side kitchen door most of the time and there’s no place (aside from the porch itself) where we could do that. That would work for the fall/spring, but not for the uber cold winters we get.

  4. Looks like you did a great job getting organized! I really love those clipboards – they are so cute!

  5. Those personalized calendars/hooks are fantastic! Organization is so key to keeping sane with little kids, isn’t it?

  6. Wow…everything’s so pretty!!

  7. Love these! Especially the backpack stations. While it’s only my son’s first year of preschool I’m still bookmarking school ideas like crazy! The make-ahead breakfasts could be good for mom too!

  8. Love this! I need to make sure to use these tips I’m sure it will make my life a little bit better. Great Organizing tips :0)

    • Organizing always helps, doesn’t it? I personally need to get a lot better about it! I get so busy and don’t do it, but really, staying organized SAVES time.
