Wordless Wednesday Linky – Weekend in Maine

Just a forewarning, this will be not be exactly a wordless wednesday post. We went to Maine two weekends ago for a couple of days at our friends’ lake house. We had an amazing time. I did something new too – I went tubing for the first time! I don’t have any pictures of that, but it was great. But I’ll stop talking and show you the photos – they do a much better job of describing our trip.

Here is Emily with Becky – Emily adores Becky!

Joshua playing with a water gun. I could not get him to look at the camera and smile. It must be that “photographer’s kid” syndrome I’ve heard about. He will smile and look everywhere but the camera!

Nate and Nathan tubing! Nathan loved it!

Lukey is trying to swim. He loves the water.

Our friends have a huge Great Dane. It was really funny to see him with the kids.

I went out to the dock in the evening and it was so gorgeous and peaceful.

The next morning, Nate took some photos of the sunrise:

Here is me and Jan – she is so amazing and I just love her!

Luke did not like the boat!

Nathan played checkers with Mr Bill. It was cute to see them both so intent on the game:

And lastly, a family photo before we went home. Whew, were we tired!

    Your photos are beautiful. I’m very jealous of the time spent in Maine. We lived in New Hampshire (Littleton) for 8+ years, and I MISS the beautiful scenery.
