Morph-O-Scopes by Ooz & Oz are unique art kits that provide hours of fun, without making a huge mess. They’re optical illusion coloring pages with a concept taken from Anamorphosis of ancient artists, that’s similar to that of fun house mirrors. Each kit comes with a mirror “decoder” that allows the user to discover the secret behind the distorted page. Recommend for ages 5 on up, they’re great for kids, teens, classrooms, even adults!
The Sports Kit is child-safe, made in the USA, and contains:
- 32 Morphed Sports Optical Illusion Activities
- 2 Easy Assembly Mirror Decoders
- 16 Non-Toxic Crayons
- Instructions
- An Enrichment Guide
- Play-Anywhere Fun House Carrying Case
One of the first things I noticed and really liked about this kit is the carrying case. The handle allows for kids to carry it wherever they want, while the drawer neatly stores their materials and work. It’s “small” details like this that give this kit an extra edge in my opinion.
I also appreciated that the Morph-O-Scope instructions say you can copy the pages to allow for more fun for the child. That tells me the company cares about kids really enjoying their product, versus just out to make a buck. As a mom, I really appreciate that and it makes me want to recommend Morph-O-Scope even more.
Nathan is nine years old and I knew he would like Morpho-O-Scopes. What surprised me was just how much he loved it!
He enjoys doing artwork, but he’s also my science kid – always asking questions about how things work, why, where, when. You know the drill. When Nathan finished his first paper and started on another, I asked what he thought of his Morph-O-Scope Sports Kit. He said “Mom, this is a really weird kit, but it’s the coolest kit I’ve ever had. And it’s got science too!”
I highly recommend Morph-O-Scopes. It’s no wonder they’ve won 5 national toy awards so far; they’re fun, educational, keep kids busy for hours, and have a great price tag – each kit is just $19.99.
