I admit it – I don’t like emptying the dishwasher. And what’s even more frustrating is when I empty it, only to find a plate with food stuck on it still or a glass that is streaked with spots. Then I have to wash them by hand or (if I’m lazy) put them back in the dishwasher and hope the next load will get them clean enough.
Does that ever happen to you? (I’m sure you wouldn’t be lazy and reload it like I do.) Wouldn’t it be nice to open the dishwasher and find sparkling clean dishes every time?
Our dishwasher is pretty old; in fact, it was old when we bought our house almost 8 years ago. It doesn’t always do a poor job or we would have replaced it, but I do get frustrated with its performance. And it’s gotten worse the last year or so; we almost did replace it last fall.
What I didn’t know was that as of July 2010, phosphates were banned from dishwasher detergents. It was the phosphates that helped keep that cloudy film away and dishes extra clean. Now I don’t know a whole lot about phosphates and that stuff, but I do know that the timing of it being removed and my dishes not being as clean makes sense. Apparently a lot of people have noticed this and thought it was the dishwasher’s fault.
That’s where OxiClean® Dishwashing Booster comes in. First, I just have to say how much I love OxiClean for washing our clothes so I was excited to hear to hear about this! It’s the first dishwasher booster from OxiClean and works by dissolving the cloudy film from minerals and hard water that builds up during the rinse cycle. This can remove the cloudy film, food particles, streaks, and spots that have plagued our “clean” dishes.
OxiClean Dishwashing Booster will get rid of the cloudy film in just one wash. You add two squirts of the booster to the bottom of the dishwasher and also fill up the rinse agent dispenser. Add detergent as usual and see what happens.
With our first load using OxiClean Dishwashing Booster, I didn’t have to rewash any dishes or glasses. After a few loads, I’ve noticed that our loads have been consistently cleaner. And that means less work for me (Yay!) In fact, I realized I’ve stopped looking at my glasses before using them because they’re sparkling clean now, just like they should be.
Look at my glass here…clean!
For me, using OxiClean Dishwashing Booster is absolutely worth the small cost of just $3.99-4.99 for a 7 oz bottle that will boost up to 67 loads. There’s also a 13 oz size that washes up to 127 loads for $6.99-7.99. It’s easy to add the booster and then I just forget about it and enjoy my cleaner dishes. I definitely recommend OxiClean Dishwashing Booster as a great way to help us save time and frustration. Check it out!

My oldest daughter won’t do her laundry without her oxiclean as she is a server and gets lots of food stains on her uniforms. She loves it so if it works as good as that does which sounds like from your review it does, it is a fantastic product

I’m a little lazy too when my dishwasher doesn’t remove all the food. I really want to try this product!
I am heart broken about this product. I have added it to my dishwasher instead of spot remover and all my dishes, glasses, everything I wash in the dishwasher are all but ruined! I am not exagerating! I have a film all over my glassware, silverware, everything! I am not certain it is coming off….I have used Softscrub on most everything. I have had to throw most of my glassware out! My dishes are worst than they have ever been. I am just hoping it will come off because seriously everything I own is a mess. Worst product ever!!!!!!!!!!
