Meet Our New Review Team

My recent search for contributing reviewers amazed me – I had so many incredible people apply. It was really hard to decide and I had to turn down some pretty great people as I could only take on a couple for my review team. As it is, I ended up choosing 4 awesome ladies to join the Musings From a SAHM team!

I’d like to introduce you to Austin, Aurie, Cassie, and Melanie!

Meet Austin:

My name is Austin and I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the Musings From a SAHM team. My husband and I lived in Atlanta for about five years, until we had our twin boys Silas and Noah, and we made an emergency move back home to be near family. They were born prematurely so we are still working out all kinds of kinks, but we couldn’t be more blessed. Even though they are twins, their personalities and appearances are so different. In terms of interests, Luke and I are both very interested in gardening. I love to read and cook, and since Silas’ diet has been gluten free, casein free, soy free for a year now, that has presented all kinds of “opportunities” to learn new tricks. The boys pretty much enjoy everything you would expect of a pair rowdy two year olds, but surprisingly they like to do crafts pretty much every day. I’m really happy to have met these great girls at Musings and I can’t wait to start reviewing products.

Meet Aurie:

Aurie Good is a pastor’s wife, a “retired” youth minister, and probably the most relaxed mom that you’ll ever meet!  She blogs at Our Good Life with quips about life as a stay at home mom to two girly toddlers, two wild & crazy dogs, and one cranky cat.  She is married to her best friend and considers the simple life that they’ve created absolute bliss! In addition to their biological daughters, they foster medically fragile infants and are hoping to add one {or more!} of these precious children to their forever family.

Meet Cassie:

Hey friends!  I’m Cassie and eight months ago, I had the incredible opportunity to marry the love of my life, Bart Gant.  Becomming Mrs. Gant has been one of the best decisions I have ever made and I feel so blessed to be with him.  Together we live in the Central Coast of California and are loving the newlywed life.  I am currently learning the ins and outs of being a wife and how to love my husband better each day.  I am enjoying learning how to cook, craft and make our little apartment our home sweet home.  We love to go to the beach together so he can surf and I can relax in the sun, we are huge San Francisco Giants fans, and we love to play cribbage.  We also love being an auntie and uncle to our eight nieces and nephews and hope to have a big family of our own someday.  But until then, I am loving life with my husband!

Meet Melanie:

I am a new mom to a 3-month old boy, and I couldn’t be more delighted with my new life role!! Part of my preparation process for Samuel’s arrival was reading reviews of products in order to figure out the “must-haves” and “fun-to-haves.” So, I am beyond excited to be part of the review team at Musings From a Stay at Home Mom! In addition to being Samuel’s mommy, I am also a military wife, married to a wonderful, Godly man…my best friend in every way. I am truly blessed!

In my former life I was a busy wedding and portrait photographer, but Samuel has, of course, taken precedence of late. I will be easing back into the swing of things as our schedule stabilizes, and am eager to flex my creative muscles once again, especially now that I have a super cute little assistant! I look forward to contributing at Musings from a SAHM and helping you with your “must-have” decisions as well!
