No Motivation

This is how I feel today.

Not that I can actually sit around in my pajamas all day (I could do the pajamas but the sitting part is definitely not gonna happen.)

All week I’ve had such a hard time getting anything done. With 4 kids it doesn’t take long for the house to get very messy and I’m still playing catch up from last week when everyone was sick.

Yesterday when I was trying to clean up the living room, there was Luke going behind me literally undoing everything I did. I straightened the DVD’s under the TV; he immediately took them out and scattered them all over the floor. I picked up the Peek-a-Blocks; he dumped them. I put the books away; he took them out again.

That’s how it feels my whole week has been. Today I really need to get going. I don’t have to go anywhere so I should be able to get on top of things. Should  being the key word there.

Have you had a “pajama” week or have you been doing great? What’s your motivation?

  1. funny! we mostly homeschool in our pj’s – we will be today – not going anywhere! :) Best schooling attire ever!

  2. Oops! My friend came over the other day..I had forgotten that we had a bible study date! I was still in my jammies at 10:00 am LOL

  3. Yes, it’s been a lazy week for me too! I would be in my pajamas too if it wasn’t for me having to get up and take my son to the bus stop. My kids have all been sick too. They are finally getting over it so we can get out of the house for a while…and guess who doesn’t feel like going anywhere? LOL

  4. Lol! I’m generally in my PJs till I pick dottie up in the afternoon from Kinder!!

  5. Pajama week…try pajama months!!! That is the life of a new mom:)

  6. Good luck getting everything done. Maybe you should have a rule though I don’t know how well it would actually work that you can only take out one thing at a time. Choose one DVD and watch it or one set of cars to play with.

  7. We do pj days a lot here…so much so they sometimes are weeks lol

I only have one little one, but he definitely knows how to undo my cleaning. Most of the time I clean at night so it at least stays straightened up for a few hours.

  8. Lately my morning coffees have not been kicking it, I just want to curl up and go back to bed. I hate feeling so lazy when there’s so much to do!

  9. I love this sign! It needs to go on my fridge!

I’d say my week is half and half so far .. half pjs, half doing something productive.
