And Then I Was Reminded…

…of all the blessings I’ve been given.

I was just uploading the camera and look at some these photos I’ve captured this week:

(And when I attempted a picture with the three boys together)

Joshua is Mommy’s little helper – he worked so hard helping me with that load of laundry!

Emily is such a good helper and like a second mommy to Luke sometimes:

I was going to wait and post this tomorrow morning, but I knew I had to add this. As I was reading some blog comments, I came across one from Kelly at “In Everything” I truly feel the Lord led her to visit my blog and comment so I would be encouraged. I love her theme verse “In everything, give thanks” (Eph 5:20.)
That is so true and exactly what I needed to hear. God is in control and even if I am feeling overwhelmed, He is still there, unchanging, unmoving, solid. What peace and promise we have as Christ-followers!

Thanks, Kelly, for stopping by and taking the time to comment. You probably had no idea it would mean that much to me!

My wonderful friends, I encourage you to stop by and meet Kelly‘s beautiful family – she homeschools too!

As for me? I am going to take a weekend off. It’s been a crazy week for me with this wordpress switch and I’m tired. I’m going to enjoy my me-time that hubby plans to give me tomorrow morning and spend the rest of the weekend enjoying my family.

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friends!

  1. Very nice pictures. At least you got smiles in most of them :)

    Hi Erika!

You have captured some really wonderful pictures! I Love your kids smiles :)

  3. Hi Erika! Thank you for stopping by my blog. I love this post! What a wonderful quote from Ephesians. It is hard in our busy lives with children to remember to give thanks. I really needed this reminder, so thank you for posting!

  4. Awesome looking family! It makes me miss the craziness that was always going on when mine were small. My “baby” is starting graduate school and my granddaughter, age 6, is entering the 1st grade. Wow! time has flown.
Enjoy all these moments as they go by in a flash.
